Presenter: Laura Martin, Ph.D., is a linguist and specialist in
Maya culture and languages. She is emerita professor of
Linguistics, Spanish, Anthropology, and Health Sciences at
Cleveland State University, where she directed the K’inal
Winik Mayan Cultural Center. She is a docent at Cleveland
Museum of Art, an artist, and a member of Art Books Cleveland.
*Workshops can be offered in English and Spanish
