The team at The US Caribbean & Ethnic Florida Digital Newspaper Project's primary goal is to digitalize Caribbean newspapers and diaries that are currently only available on microfilms and provide access, for free, to the public "the Library of Congress’ Chronicling America, the University of Florida Libraries’ Florida Digital Newspaper Library, and the Digital Library of the Caribbean."

The site gives access to the team's blog, as they document their accomplishments and give updates to the project as it grows and develops. They also have a page for resources and presentations for the classroom, lesson plans, and research guides, mainly geared towards higher education but with some PK-12 classrooms in mind.
