From the project website: "Due to the importance of analyzing big data across disciplines there are natural opportunities to for partnerships in research and development across the region and nation. CSU already has a significant number of faculty members that have either an expertise in handling large data sets and or possess them. The proposed methods-driven research center would bring both sets of faculty together to share approaches, ideas, and collaborate toward novel non-discipline specific publications and funding. This center aims to be inclusive first and foremost with respect to all research domains as well as all levels of data science."
