An essay on the use of influenza vaccines during the 1918-19 Influenza Pandemic, the reasons they did not work, and the methodology of the scientists working in Canadian labs. Included at the end are photographs of the locations and men involved in the vaccine as well as a photograph of a vial of the original vaccine, held at the Canada Science & Technology Museum.
