This course investigates the core concepts of space, place, and environment and everyday uses of geographical knowledge and skills. Furthermore, this course provides a general overview of regional and conceptual topics including physical geography, human geography, environmental geography, and regional geography. Students will also learn to manipulate web-based GIS tools such as Google Maps and Google Earth in lab units which provide a solid grounding in digital mapping as well as world regional geography."
