Celebrate Black History Month 2023 with CSU College of Arts and Sciences. Spring 2023 Black History Month Events Include:

Wednesday, February 1:
Black History Treasure Trail
"This trail will have posters about Black history at various campus locations. Students will have the ability to collect information from the posters throughout the day. Students can then enter a raffle, and those with the most information collected will be entered to win a $25 gift card. The submission deadline is at 5:00 pm." Location: CSU Main Campus.

Thursday, February 9 from 12:30 – 2:00pm:
Black Women's Support and Discussion Hour in partnership with the Mareyjoyce Green Women’s Center
"Discussion facilitated by Dr. Paula Mickens-English." Location: CSU Main Campus, Howard A. Mims African American Cultural Center, Berkman Hall 137.

Thursday, February 16 from 11:00am – 2:00pm:
Black History Trivia and Board Games
"Students will be asked to participate as individuals and as representatives of their student organizations to engage with Black History trivia and board games. Their introduction to different cultural games is expected to advance their knowledge about Black history and culture and promote student interaction outside of the classroom to create community." Location: CSU Main Campus, Howard A. Mims African American Cultural Center, Berkman Hall 137.

Project 400 Conference: Our Bodies, Our Minds, Our Communities: Physical, Emotional, and Environmental Impacts of Racism
"Please join the Diversity Institute and member organizations of the Project 400 Collaborative for our fourth annual conference. Participants will gain a unique opportunity to connect to the ongoing conversation about race as the foundation of systemic inequities and ways in which we might address them." Location: CSU Main Campus, Roberta Steinbacher Atrium, Levin College of Public Affairs and Education and via Zoom.
