Walk on over 500 large, laminated tactical pilotage charts so you can gain a better sense of the geographical layout of the Islamic and non-Western world. The maps show cities and towns as well as principal roads, railroads, rivers, bodies of water, distinctive landmarks, spot elevations, contours, elevations tints, and stream-drainage patterns. You can also tour the world with medieval traveler Ibn Battuta or observe the scope of the Mongol empires.
All you need for the tour is your smart phone.
