The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights released their updated statement to the Human Rights Council based on the February 24th, 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. This oral update expressed sympathy for the losses of Ukrainian people at the hands of the Russian government and military, while also expressing the ways that nations worldwide are feeling the pain for Ukraine.
