From the CSU Galleries website: "The Galleries at CSU are located in the historic Cowell & Hubbard Building at the corner of Euclid Avenue and East 13th Street, in the heart of Playhouse Square and the newly developed Arts Campus. This magnificent new venue opened September 2012 as a state-of-the-art gallery with a mission to educate, edify, and involve all of our diverse audiences by presenting exhibitions and related programs that promote the understanding of art and its relationship to society. The Galleries also serve as an academic laboratory for the study, contemplation, and critical analysis of works of art and their context.

In addition to learning from the art works on display, students get an opportunity to gain professional experience, and to leam job skills in the museum field and in the administration of non-profit organizations, as well as knowledge about the art market and the business of art."
