Zoom

Zoom is a video conferencing platform that many educators and employees across the country collaborated with during the 2020-2021 COVID-19 pandemic. With high reliability and user-friendly features ("If you can click a link you can join a Zoom" according to Cleveland State University's John Hubbard), Zoom has a lot to offer in both pandemic and post-pandemic learning. It can be used for virtual office hours, either to supplement or replace in-person office hours, for lecture capture and transcription, or as a place for group collaboration at any level of university learning.
IThe platform was discussed in John Hubbard's two presentations, Diane Corrigan, Grace Huang, and Carmen Alicea's presentation, and Toni Paoletta's presentation at the Cleveland Teaching Collaborative's Summer Sandbox.
